I spent 5 hours writing an email to request a recommendation letter. Which didn't work out. That professor reject me through my boss! What a shame. A total waste of 5 hours of good happy sleeping time. I should ask him earier, or should never bother.
At least one comforting thing. grxue says I can have UIUC for secure. Hope he's right on that point.
